I'm Arjun, a game designer with 5 years of experience specializing in systems design, economies, progression, and live ops.
 

I started out in concept art, drawn to world building, character design, and the craft of visual storytelling, finding ways to communicate personality and place through imagery alone. Over time I picked up programming, then Unity, and eventually found my home in systems design.
 

That journey shaped how I work today. I enjoy prototyping ideas and building them out with attention to detail whether that's in Unity or Unreal and I naturally approach design from a player-centric lens, informed by a formal background in design.

Getting the feel right matters as much as getting the numbers right. I'm just as comfortable deep in a spreadsheet balancing an economy as I am sketching out a new mechanic. 
I care about understanding why something works for players, not just that it works.

Owned end-to-end gameplay and live ops design for a F2P mobile word game “Crossword Jam” and “Word Trip” within PlaySimple's chart topping portfolio, delivering more than 50% LTV growth in the span of 4 years and sustained engagement across a multi million DAU player base.

Concept Artist - 9 mos

Created visual content including levels, characters, NPCs, and props adhering to style guidelines, while improving overall visual quality standards. Developed concepts for characters, environments, and backgrounds for several unreleased titles.

Concept Artist - 2.5yrs

Delivered end-to-end concept art across characters, environments, and props for multiple client projects, collaborating closely with producers, game designers, and 3D artists to ensure quality and fidelity to brief.
