INTRODUCTION
Hyper Dash is a casual game , Dash yourself to top!, with help of the yellow boosters while avoiding obstacles and falling down.

CONTROLS
Use Left or Right Arrow keys to control. Make sure you click the game window once to enable controls.
PROCESS
This prototype was an exercise on GAME USER EXPERIENCE.
The goal was to enhance the experience of on boarding a first time user with the aid of intuitive tutorials.
Ideation
After deciding on building a quick casual game, we brainstormed on all possible mechanics.

Ball splitting.

Ball sticking to platform.

Platform bounce.

Ball Rebound obstacle.

Switching platform while running.

Build platforms while jumping.

Avoiding obstacles while maintaining speed.

Make Dash power ups and control direction

Falling sphere controlled only on next sphere

Prototype
Dash mechanic based game was selected.
ITERATION One
The First prototype took a day to complete the basic mechanic was working and also implemented a TILT controls for Android, Tilting the phone left or right to move the box.

ITERATION Two
The first play test gave us many insights ,

such as lack of feedback (Dash effect is not seen).

Triangles was seen as an obstacle.

Unable to grasp the idea of dash.

Tilting controls are sluggish / not quick enough.

Prototype Two has addressed these issues and with an addition of juicing elements to the game such as:

Particle Effects,

Camera shake
-
Slow motion
ITERATION Three
The second play test had more positive feedback

Players liked the feel of mechanics.

Tilt controls improved, but not perfect yet.

Game art looked basic.
